1. Overview
This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the terms under which Blackscreen Pte Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides refunds for services and products.
Due to the nature of digital marketing services, most services rendered are non-refundable once work has commenced.
2. Service-Based Work (Non-Refundable)
All payments made for the following are strictly non-refundable once work has started:
- Paid advertising campaign setup and management
- Digital marketing services and consultancy
- Strategy planning and account audits
- Landing page design and development
- Any time-based or resource-based services
This is because resources, time, and expertise are allocated immediately upon project initiation.
3. Creative Production (Design & Video)
For creative services:
Before Work Starts
- Full refund may be granted if cancellation is requested before work begins.
After Work Has Started
- No refunds will be issued once:
- Initial concepts are delivered, or
- Production has commenced
Revisions Instead of Refunds
- Clients are entitled to revisions based on the agreed package (e.g. number of amendments stated in quotation).
4. Ad Spend (Third-Party Platforms)
All advertising budgets paid to third-party platforms (including but not limited to Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads):
- Are non-refundable by Blackscreen Pte Ltd
- Are subject to the respective platform’s refund policies
- We are not liable for any unused or underperforming ad spend
5. Subscription / Retainer Services
For monthly services:
- Fees are billed in advance
- No refunds for partial months once the service period has started
- Cancellation must be made with [e.g. 14 or 30 days] written notice prior to the next billing cycle
6. Project-Based Work
For fixed-scope projects:
- Deposits (typically 50%) are non-refundable
- If project is terminated after commencement:
- Work completed up to that point will be billed accordingly
- No refund will be provided for completed phases
7. Exceptional Cases
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis only if:
- Work has not commenced, or
- We are unable to deliver the agreed service due to internal reasons
Any approved refund will be processed within 7–14 business days.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Clients agree to contact us first to resolve any issues before initiating chargebacks.
Unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Immediate suspension of services
- Legal action where necessary
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Updates will be published on this page.
